Bindery & Packaging Technician
Day shift: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM Work Location: In person
Key Responsibilities:Bindery: Preform bindery tasks including but not limited to; hand collating, machine collating, stapling, cutting, folding and other bindery equipment operations.Product Packaging Quality Control:Conduct regular checks to ensure the product is consistent and accurate according to procedure.Maintain quality and make necessary adjustments.Identify and resolve any issues that may affect quality or production efficiency. Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.Report any major mechanical problems to manager. Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:Able to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, safety procedures and job ticket instructions. Experience working with bindery equipment, is a plus, but not required.Must be 18 years old, or older.Meet production schedules and yeild targets.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to perform repetitive actions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Ability to switch tasks as needed.Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Willing to work in other departments or handle unique duties as needed, on occasion.Reliable attendance.
Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).Prolonged standing, walking, and bending.Manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts and tools.
Job Type: Full-time or part-time.Pay: $15.00 per hour and up, based on experience.

Offset Roll Press Operator

Material Handling:Monitor the supply of paper and other materials.Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before usage. Quality Control:Conduct regular checks to ensure the paper feed is consistent and accurate according to procedure.Maintain print quality and make necessary adjustments.Identify and resolve any issues that may affect print quality or production efficiency. Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.Report any major mechanical problems to manager. Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
